Individual session: African Safari

Get out those binoculars as you are about to go on an amazing “African safari” together.

“African safari” is the perfect activity for the little ones in your setting. Extend the learning by discovering the wonders of Africa and all the amazing, if slightly scary, animals that live there.   Why not discover a new country each week in Africa? Create a topic table about their culture, food, animals, and environment.

In your adventure together, you will:

  • Wake up the Littlemagictrain and hop on board and travel to Africa.
  • Get out your binoculars to check where the lions are sleeping – don’t wake them up!
  • Splash about in the watering hole with Elephants.
  • Shake those Baboon bottoms at each other.
  • Put on your go-faster stripes to run with the Zebra.
  • Watch out, the lion is waking up!
  • Standing on tiptoe with the Giraffe as you look for food high up in the trees.
  • Say goodbye to all your new friends.
  • Wake up your Littlemagictrain to go home.

There are so many opportunities for learning in the adventures. All the planning and hard work has been done for you and the sessions cover all areas of the Foundation Phase and the new EYFS.  These sessions are also a wonderful activity for children with additional learning needs.
