Individual session: Kanga At The North Pole

“Kanga at the North Pole” has been created to extend the learning from of one of our favourite adventures ‘North Pole’.   Your little ones can discover why Kanga isn’t very happy in the snow. Learn about the environment, ice bergs, and why Kanga is feeling a bit chilly compared to her home in Australia.   Discuss the emotions being so far away in a very cold and strange place.

In your adventure together, you will:

  • Wake up the Littlemagictrain find Kanga and arrive at the North Pole – brrr!
  • Find and put on some extra warm clothes.
  • Oh no, Kanga is still feeling cold. Help her warm up with some runs, jumps, and claps.
  • All that exercise has made our new friend the polar bear hungry. Help him catch some fish as we don’t want to be his lunch!
  • Sitting on the ice has made Kanga very cold again – time to warm up!
  • While we were helping Kanga a seal has run away with the fish.
  • Catch that seal!
  • Our new friend the seal was just hungry – why don’t we share our catch?
  • Say goodbye to all your new friends and wake up your Littlemagictrain.

There are so many opportunities for learning in the adventures. All the planning and hard work has been done for you and the sessions cover all areas of the Foundation Phase and the new EYFS.  These sessions are also a wonderful activity for children with additional learning needs.
