Individual session: Visiting The Bears

“Visiting the bears” is the perfect activity for all your little ones in your setting as together you will go on an adventure in the woods and meet some very sleepy bears.   Discover together how important it is to look after our environment for all our mini-beasts and mammals.

In your adventure together, you will:

  • Wake up the Littlemagictrain and hop on board to arrive in the woods.
  • Get a bit lost in the woods looking for the bear’s cottage.
  • We knock on the door and no answer, but we hear a lot of snoring!
  • While we wait, for the bears to wake, we try on their shoes to pass the time.
  • Try on the big heavy boots first and growl and stomp as loudly as you can.
  • Pop on the red shoes and walk around on tiptoe.
  • Put on the tiny baby bear wellies and find some puddles to splash in.
  • Tidy up all the shoes and hear a bear’s tummy rumble and growl!
  • Make some yummy porridge together for the bears as they sound very hungry.
  • Say goodbye to all our new friends and find the path out of the woods.
  • Wake up your Littlemagictrain to go home.

There are so many opportunities for learning in the adventures. All the planning and hard work has been done for you and the sessions cover all areas of the Foundation Phase and the new EYFS.  These sessions are also a wonderful activity for children with additional learning needs.
