Are you and your little ones ready to explore the beauty of Southern Africa? If the answer is yes, pack your binoculars, maps, and snacks. It‘s time for some serious fun!

This is a wonderful adventure to discover the continent of Africa starting with South Africa. Learn about all the different countries in Africa. Meet some of the animals that survive and need our help in Africa. Did you know that the continent of Africa is 30 million square km? Bigger than Canada, the United States, and China put together! Think of all the fun of discovering the different countries, cultures, and food in Africa. This adventure is the perfect stepping stone for your little one’s curiosity.

In your adventure together, you will:

  • Wake up your Littlemagictrain and travel all the way to South Africa.
  • Put your Littlemagictrain away and you hear lots of strange animal noises.
  • Get out your binoculars and identify and count all animals you can see.
  • Have lots of waterplay fun with the Elephants.
  • Join the Meerkats in a game of roly-poly.
  • Pronk (jump) with the Springboks.
  • Reach the top of the trees with the Giraffes.
  • Join a pride of Lions.
  • Run with the Zebras.
  • Join the Porcupines as they rattle their quills.
  • Laugh and giggle with the cheeky Baboons.
  • Wallow in the mud and poo with the Hippos.
  • Say goodbye to all your new friends and wake up your Littlemagictrain.
  • Recap your adventure to develop communication skills and enhance vocabulary.

This adventure is built up over 10 weeks giving you opportunities to enhance your little ones learning with provocation, communication, sensory, and STEM activities around the theme of this adventure. All the planning and hard work have been done for you and the sessions cover all areas of the new EYFS and the Curriculum for Wales.  These adventures are the perfect activity for ALL children as the resource is robust and adaptable to all needs.
